About Alexander
I taught English in Istanbul, where I worked as a teacher in a school as well as working as a volunteer teacher for refugees from various nations. Later in the Netherlands, I continued to volunteer teaching English to refugees and honed my personal methods to elicit the best from my students.
I currently work for Oxinity and for Learneezee as an English teacher giving online classes. I believe students learn best when the classes are adapted to their needs. I will tailor our lessons together to fit with exactly how you like to learn and how to allow you to achieve your full potential.
From the first lesson, even if you have never tried to learn English before, you will start speaking and building your self-confidence with the new langauge. I think that languages are always best learnt in context and so I will apply this to my teaching. Features of grammer will always be learnt with examples and within sentences.
In my own experience learning languages, immersing myself in the language is what kept my motivation high. I will always suggest you films, books, songs, poetry, websites and more to inspire you to keep going and to give you the chance to engage with English like a native.
