About Grace
While at university, I taught ESL in China for a summer and tutored International students for two years. Upon graduation, I worked as a news reporter on local TV for two years and taught sixth-grade English in public school for a year. I've also traveled solo to East Asia and Europe for over a year.

I base my lessons on the students' goals and encourage learning by recognizing their strengths while pushing them to improve where they are less confident. Being able to not only read and write but speak and understand English is life-changing in today's interconnected world. Lessons are conversational and begin with a review of previous knowledge to help us warm-up. I'll introduce new vocabulary based on real-world situations, and by the end of the lesson, the student will have a useful understanding of the vocabulary that they can continue to practice until our next lesson.
