About SURYA
After completing a Master's degree in English Literature, I decided to pursue teaching and training in English Language as a profession. To be trained in the latest methods of ESL teaching I completed a course in TEFL/TESOL+TQUK from the Asian College of Teachers. Here, I gained in-class experience as a teacher and trainer in English. Students of all ages, cultures and groups were introduced to us in this training programme after which I am equipped to teach English at all levels.

My teaching methods and materials include audio-visual presentations, warmers, context setting, flashcards and other specific techniques related to the lesson plan of the day. For example, for a reading and speaking class I use skimming and scanning methods to teach.
