About Itay

My name is Itay and my band The Lazy Eyes have toured the world playing our songs! We also write and record all our own music. I graduated Newtown High School of the Performing Arts with a High Distinction in music 2 and music extension. I have taught a handful of private students for a few years and also have done after school care for 5 years so I have good experience working with kids.

About the lesson

My lessons are about developing a love for good songs and being able to learn about the harmony and how things work under the hood. I can teach complete beginners the foundations but also help more advanced players with holes in their knowledge. I am more of an ear and memory player. I'm not a great sight reader and only teach the basics of that. But in terms of scales, chords, harmony, theory and learning any of your favourite songs, I can help!

Itay is a very talented musician with a wide range of knowledge. He picks up on details in my guitar playing that are a blind spot for me and helps improve them. Highly recommend him as a teacher!
