About Mollie
Hi there! I’m Mollie and I am a Newcastle university honours graduate. Last year, I completed a 4 year degree in modern languages (Spanish and German) with a year abroad where I lived in both Valencia, Spain and Graz, Austria for 6 months each. I then began my teacher training this year and completed a school placement however due to Covid, I was sadly unable to finish my second placement, therefore I am deferring and will fully complete my PGCE next year. That means I am now free to use my skills elsewhere. I know a lot of students may have fallen behind due to Covid, and that’s where I feel I could really help. I can offer German from beginner up to year 11 GCSE and Spanish from beginner up to degree standard. I have 6 years tutoring experience and can provide references on request. I and my students have found my teaching method to be very successful in terms of progress. I focus on breaking concepts into simplest terms and using a scaffolding approach to build from there. I am yet to discover something too complex for my students to master! I have 14 GCSE’s A* - C, 3 A levels and am fully familiar with most exam specifications, particularly AQA. Please get in touch with any queries at all or if you’d like a free taster session! Available Monday-Friday, possible weekend sessions on request.
