About Jonathan

If you'd like to reach me please text me (concealed information) I don't really get on the website. Hello, my name is Jonathan Martinez, and I’m currently a 4th grade Bilingual Teacher at SISD. I was named Teacher of the Year at my campus and an ELITE 8 finalist for SISD for the 2023-2024 school year. I would love to be part of your child’s success in Math and any other content. I offer my services online and in person. I’m very familiar with the math content in elementary and middle school. I'm currently working on my Master's degree, but I can find some flexibility with the scheduling.

About the lesson

I am a fully Certified EC-6 Bilingual Teacher in the state of Texas. Helping students is a joy for me. I bring terminology and problems to their level while making it interactive with games and manipulatives. I'm a firm believer that students should have fun while learning.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. He came prepared with copies, white boards, markers, fraction circle pies & fraction strips for my daughter to have visuals. My 3rd grader felt very comfortable and had an amazing experience being tutored by him. Providing those visuals really helped her see that when a denominator gets bigger then the size of the part gets smaller. He cleared miss-conceptions and helped her mastered everything he covered with her. I appreciate his availability, even though it was in a short noticed he was available the next day not mattering it was on a weekend. Communication was great. I highly recommend Mr. Jonathan Martinez
