Lessons are designed around each student's skill level, language goals and preferred learning style.
Lessons usually include a mix of interactive writing, reading and spoken exercises in the target language. While grammar is important, my goal is fluency, so that the student is confident speaking in every day situations.
As a fluent Spanish speaker, I can use L1 when absolutely necessary for true beginners, but the goal is always to use as much English during the class/tutoring session as possible.
