About Khanyisa
I am a qualified ESL teacher with four-years of teaching experience. I am also a passionate traveler who has lived and traveled to about 20 countries. As a native speaker, from South Africa, I am aware of the challenges that students face when they learn English and have developed skills to help them through those challenges. I have taught all age groups, including parents and company administrative staff. I also teach business English.

My teaching method is interactive and experiential learning. Rather than just explaining grammar for example, I create tangible scenarios for my students to understand in what context they would use that grammar. When teaching literature, I allow my students to develop their critical skills by encouraging them to ask questions while reading. Having lived in different countries, I am aware of cultural sensitivities that need to be taken into account when teaching and I conduct my lessons with that awareness.
