About Anna
Thanks for visiting my profile! I graduated in Translation and Theory of Translation in 2013 (specialist degree). I have 6 years of experience as a translator and proofreader. Since 2011 I have been teaching English to children and adults. I have worked with elementary school children (8-10 years) helping them with their homework and using educational games to maintain their interest. I've had 2 high school students (15-17 years); we carried out the preparation for their state exams which they both passed with excellent results. Finally, I've worked with adults who wanted to study the language for their business purposes; I've taken them from A2 to B2 in 2 years.

My approach is based on the balanced development of the 4 components of learning a foreign language: - Reading; - Listening comprehensopn; - Writing; - Speaking. Depending on the age and needs of the student, games, various multimedia, original texts or adapted to the current level can be used. With teenagers and adults I prefer to use the original books (New Headway, Gateway) completing the course with grammar material from various sources to go deeper into the most problematic aspects.
