About Unisha

I am an educator that is dedicated to ensuring the academic future of every child is well nurtured and their curiosity is fed, I strive to not only aid learners academically but socially as well. I have studied at UNISA for my Bachelors degree in Teaching and want to put my passion and skills to good use. I will play a very active and safe role in your endeavors. I strive to make all my learners sociable, and try and create a safe learning environment for my learners to work and study in. If you feel unsure or uncomfortable with the content being taught, it is imperative this is brought to my attention. I will work at your pace and however you feel comfortable. There will be enough teaching material and charts to help you understand the content better. I am very patient, soft spoken, and broad minded person, who will do my upmost best to assist you. I am flexible and will make myself available to help you whenever you may need me. I truly hope I get the opportunity to work with a charismatic learner, such as yourself.

About the lesson

I work with students and teach according to their level of understanding, I speak fluently, slowly enough for learners to grasp the concept of the lesson but also work efficiently and productively. I use charts and various types of teaching materials for learners to understand, and provide homework as well. I provide tutoring for Afrikaans at primary school levels, and can work with multilinguistic learners. In a typical lesson learners are to familiarize ourselves with each other, I will query about their school routine and home based learning to gain a better understanding off the child i am teaching and their challenges. I make teaching fun and productive. Learners work actively and are required to do homework. My scope is a very broad scope, as I aim to teach both Primary and High-school students.
