About SOPHIE

I have taught general English for 6 years and ESOL for 3 years. I specialise in students with low confidence, learning difficulties such as dyslexia and general time management. I have a lot of patience and understanding and I can help you develop today. I will restructure your learning into manageable chunks so that you stop being overwhelmed with work and start to enjoy the learning journey. I am positive that I can help you achieve your English goals!

About the lesson

We will have an assessment lesson to start and will write some goals and aspirations together that are manageable and achievable. We will go through reading, writing and listening activities together with an individual learning plan adapted to your preferences. There will be a chance for you to take work away to complete independently. Formative assessment and adaptation will take place periodically throughout the lessons and will be adjusted as you progress and achieve!
