About Pedro
I teach classical guitar, mainly being able to focus classes on classical or popular repertoire. The technique I teach is also compatible with acoustic or electric guitar, so the lessons can be adapted as necessary.
My teaching method is based on the Montessori Method, a methodology oriented towards teaching based on tablatures, in order to initially present the material in the simplest possible way possible. In my opinion, the guitar learning path should be fun and focused on the student's gradual discovery of the instrument, and it is up to the teacher to guide him through this process. I like to approach this journey at a flexible pace, depending on the student's progress.

Greetings! My name is Pedro. I have been teaching guitar since 2015 to all kinds of people, from child to adult. I started playing at about 9 years of age and currently, in terms of performance, perform regularly in events and recitals, focusing on Latin and South American repertoire, mostly with popular roots. Outside the academic setting, though, I usually try to make music from material that doesn't usually belong in our repertoire, like videogame soundtracks, for example.
I am currently taking a Master's Degree in Music Teaching at the University of Aveiro.
