I truly enjoy being part of the school community, engaging with students beyond the classroom to foster a sense of belonging. I take pride in helping students build their confidence in math. I strive to create a positive and fun atmosphere during my lessons and tutoring sessions, making math relatable and enjoyable. By encouraging a growth mindset, I aim to inspire my students not only to succeed academically but also to develop a genuine love for the subject. Seeing them grow and gain confidence in their abilities is what motivates me every day.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on a student-centered approach, tailoring my methods to individual learning styles and needs. A typical lesson starts with a review of previous concepts, followed by introducing new material through relatable examples and guided practice. I provide independent practice to assess understanding and conclude with a discussion to clarify any questions. What sets me apart is my emphasis on creating a supportive environment that encourages a growth mindset, helping students view challenges as opportunities. My lessons cater to middle and high school students, specifically in algebra 1, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus, whether they need help with homework, test preparation, or enrichment.

I teach 8th-grade math, focusing on foundational concepts that prepare students for high school and college. With certification to teach grades 7-12, I have expertise in subjects like algebra 1, geome
