About Leopold

I am an undergraduate college student studying Philosophy and Political Science in TCD. I was born and raised in Munich and my native language is German. My hobbies are tennis, soccer and skiing and I have recently picked up hurling.

I have gained teaching experience as a tennis and ski instructor back in Germany and have completed a certificate in both. This is where I have developed a passion for teaching.

I have always achieved results of the highest standard in German in School and have developed a love for the language and literature. I have a vast knowledge about German language and literature but also German history and culture. I have finished school with an equivalent of an H1 in German (native speaker level) (proof can be provided on request)

About the lesson

Lessons are offered on an hourly basis with content tailored to the students needs. This can be help with reading, exam preparation, oral speaking practice, writing practice, culture and history class, lessons on German literature or anything which may help the tutee.

Reading help: developing text comprehension and pronunciation practice

Exam preparation: going through tailored exercises to help with exam practice. provision of essential strategies to answer the questions in a German exam.

Oral speaking practice: conversational style with an accent free German speaker. Ideal for oral exam preparation.

Writing practice: provision of vocabulary and skills to write the perfect essay in German + feedback written work for class of course.

Culture and History class: provision of general knowledge about German culture and history as well as exclusive insights from a German. (provision of similarities and differences between culture in Ireland and Germany)

Lessons in German literature: Help with the provision of background knowledge of the most essential German literature.
