I'm Taylor Pak, originally from New York. I have 14 years experience teaching ESL and test prep. I have lived in New York, Los Angeles, South Korea, and Hawaii. I currently live in Osaka, Japan. My hobbies are watching movies, karaoke, exercising, and taking care of my dog Churro.

Hello, my name is Taylor Pak and I have 14 years of experience teaching ESL, TOEFL, SAT, SSAT, and Business English. I began my career teaching in South Korea for major institutions such as Chungdahm Learning, The Princeton Review, and Hyundai Motors. I continued my career in Hawai, teaching at English schools such as ICC, Central Pacific College, Hawaii Palms, as well as Hawaii Tokai University. I can teach any English skills that need improvement, from speaking, to grammar, to vocabulary. I know what tendencies students from all over the world have (especially students from Japan) and work with them to improve their skills.
I also teach test prep. I have vast experience teaching TOEFL, SAT, and SSAT. In most cases, scores have improved significantly with the help of my tutoring. I assess the student's skill levels, and see which skills need the most work. Through constant repetition and reinforcement, skills are learned and improved upon.
I teach in a comfortable, friendly, and fun environment. The classes are stress-free and enjoyable. I like to make it fun, for it is more stimulating, and makes it easier to learn.
