About Javane
My experience as a professionally gigging musician paired with my formal studies, is what inspires me to teach others and be excited to see their progress. Singing is a full external and internal experience and it is my core belief that learning to sing is entwined with your personal growth in so many ways.
I believe as we improve our musical selves we also work on our mental health and find fulfilling outlets of self-expression. Musicality carries over to personal growth and confidence, which is why it is a very powerful tool, particularly for young students.

I am currently embarking on my Master of Music Studies Specialising in Pedagogy (the study of teaching vocal science) at the Conservatory. I have completed my Bachelor of Music Majoring in Contemporary Vocal Performance.
As a Professional Vocal Performer, I understand the industry and have plenty of experience working with different vocalists and instrumentalists. I am currently in two original bands, one tribute band and regularly perform as a solo entertainer.
Our lessons are 30 minutes, where we cover topics that align with your goals and experience. Sight-singing and musical theory is optional for adults but is highly encouraged for young students who are building core musical foundations.
