I’ve been actively tutoring peers at the college level in math and science, including calculus and mechanics. I also volunteer through the Biomedical Engineering Society, where I lead STEM workshops for younger students in my community. These workshops allow me to engage with elementary through high school students using hands-on experiments and interactive lessons, designed to build curiosity and foundational understanding in science and engineering.
My teaching focus on building conceptual understanding first, then reinforcing that knowledge through guided practice and real-life examples. I use a student-centered approach, always adapting to individual learning styles whether visual, verbal, or kinesthetic. I prioritize clear communication, patient explanation, and frequent check-ins to make sure students are not only keeping up but feeling confident. While I do not hold formal teaching certifications yet, my experience and academic preparation have equipped me with the tools to support learners across a wide range of subjects and age groups.
