About Anni
I study Educational sciences at the University of Eastern Finland. English has been my favorite subject since primary school, and I’ve done it with commendable grades from elementary school to college. I studied in Scotland as an exchange student, allowing me to use English every day in my daily life. This greatly expanded my knowledge of vocabulary when I got to talk to the native.
I knew I wanted to study English at university as well, which is why I ended up applying for a minor in English language, culture and translation. I got the right, and now my big dream of getting to teach English comes true!

I use visual teaching methods to my advantage. I make graphic drawings and patterns to support learning so that learning is combined with the visual side. In addition to learning itself, I leave time for reflection which helps the student really understand and internalize what they have learned. Imagination is a wonderful key to learning, which is why I feel it is an important part of teaching. Integrating imagination into teaching is important regardless of age! Regardless of your abilities, we are going to include your areas of passion into practice which will help maintain a relaxed feel to it. The goal is to work on the areas on which you want to improve :).
