About Thomas
I studied English and German at the University of Heidelberg, where I developed a special interest in modern literature and Shakespeare. I used my traineeship at Montfort-Gymnasium-Tettnang last year to get to know pedagogical methods and to try them out. I try to promote students as individually as possible and to let them always find the problems and solutions as independently as possible. My strength is my great patience and social commitment, which makes me predestined to work with disadvantaged / difficult students.

I work a lot with method changes, ie teacher-student conversation alternating with individual work and partner work of the students, in order to always maintain the awareness and to underline a certain structure in the classroom. I greatly encourage students' own initiative and individual interests, because I think that "homeworking" with literature and media is very important for both language learning and the development of the curious and the intellectual.
