About Catarina
I'm a Translation undergraduate student at FLUL. I graduated from high school with a major in Languages and Humanities. I've always loved learning new languages and English remains my favourite. I understand that it can be intimidating to hear a foreign language and "not understand a thing" but, with practice and a lot of patience, I believe it's always possible learning how to communicate, regardless of the obstacles!

Hello! My name is Catarina, and I'm here to help you overcome challenges, improve your academic performance, and develop a positive relationship with the English language!
My classes are tailored to each student's profile and needs. I use a communicative and practical approach that encourages active participation, respecting each student's pace and level. Each class is tailored to the student's objectives (test/exam preparation, writing improvement, grammar comprehension). We begin by reviewing previous content to consolidate it, then move on to new content (explanations and exercises), concluding with a review. Whenever necessary, I provide additional support material, personalized worksheets, and ongoing feedback.

- Preparation for national exams (9th and 12th grades);
- Support with grammar, vocabulary, oral and written comprehension;
- Development of oral expression and confidence in communicating in English;
