About Sofia
I am passionate about problem solving and enjoy applying critical thinking skills to challenging mathematical problems. I've had many years of experience tutoring both primary and secondary school mathematics. Since I am a student myself, I know the best tips and tricks to aid my students in solving problems efficiently and confidently. I excel in breaking down complex problems into simpler, more understandable concepts. my past experiences in teaching have allowed me to gain valuable communication and teamwork skills. My lessons are engaging, clear and tailored to individual students. On our first lesson I'll evaluate the students current understanding and identify areas of improvement. Each lesson will start with a review of the previous one. During my lessons I break down complex mathematical concepts into more manageable pieces. We can work on worksheets and practice exam style questions together. I will also provide support with incoming exams. My goal is to increase my students grades while also building confidence.
