About Violette
Student in engineering school at CentraleSupélec, I offer math and physics courses at high school or prep level in Paris. I am currently in engineering school at CentraleSupélec after two years of preparatory class in math sup MPSI and math spé PSI * at lycée Chaptal. Having had a Very Good mention in the baccalaureate at Lycée Saint-Louis de Gonzague, I know the programs of scientific subjects of the lycée and preparatory classes well. Passionate about photography and sailing, I really like applied physics as well as mathematics. During my first year in engineering school, I had the opportunity to give several private lessons in mathematics to students close to the school. One of my students was able to earn two points from her quarterly average in a few months of follow-up.

I give lessons to high school students. I favor a very applied way of doing math: - if the student does not know his course at all, we read the course; - if he has a knowledge of it, even imperfect, we start by doing very simple exercises; - we return to the course when necessary; - we then move on to more complicated exercises; I don't hesitate to come back to the same notion several times. I am also very attentive to certain points which do not require to be a genius in math to be mastered: - writing; - do not make small mistakes (number of digits for numerical results, units in physics, implications in mathematics); - the organization (how many students take their notes badly / lose their copies); - write well (it sounds trivial, but from experience, reading a dirty copy is very unpleasant)
