About Darya
I am a trilingual math tutor with a passion for teaching and a lifelong love of mathematics. Since fifth grade, I’ve dreamed of becoming a mathematics professor at Harvard. I’ve taught both English and math to multiple groups, gaining experience in leading classrooms and working individually with students. My favorite areas of math include trigonometry and linear algebra—concepts I enjoy making accessible and exciting. I believe in clear, patient instruction tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. With a strong foundation in communication and deep enthusiasm for math, I strive to inspire students and help them truly understand and enjoy the subject.

As a mathematics major at Georgia Tech and a recent high school graduate who excelled in every math course, I understand the challenges students face and how to overcome them. Perfect! It's only been two sessions with Darya and my daughter's attitude towards Geometry has done a 180. She is feeling so confident about the material. Darya even went out of her way and made her a worksheet for an upcoming quiz. She's been great!
