About Taner
I am attending college in pursuit of an Aviation systems degree! Based in Kernersville NC, I am going to school in the Triad area. I received straight As this semester, and I have a lot of experience tutoring family, being a TA, and working with young adults!

Being enrolled in school of Aviation Mechanics, my appreciation of math is very practical. I understand the challenges of algebra and the common pitfalls students face because I had to overcome them myself!
My teaching strategy is fluid and depends on where the student needs the most support, but our basic structure will be as follows:
Warm-Up (5 minutes) - check in
Homework Support (20 minutes)
Guided Practice & Skill Building (20 minutes)
Test Prep & Study Guide Support (10 minutes)
Session Wrap-Up (5 minutes) - final check in
My materials include basic pencil & paper, a notebook, and graph paper (if applicable). I believe it is imperative to keep good notes, so we will spend some time creating reference material for the student to look back on!
