About Sophia

As a dedicated STEAM student who has faced and overcome challenges in math, I understand the frustration and hard work that comes with mastering complex concepts. My experience with these struggles allows me to relate to students and offer personalized strategies that can make math more approachable. Whether you’re reviewing class material, preparing for a test, or gearing up for an AP exam, I’m committed to helping you succeed. With patience, clear explanations, and a focus on your individual needs, we can work together to boost your confidence and excel in your math classes

About the lesson

I can help your high schooler by reviewing any homework, notes from class, and past quizzes/ tests to gauge a students place in their learning journey and patch up any areas where your student is struggling. Starting with weekly meetings I can help by teaching concepts to students and working through problems with them. If any students need more help or extra assistance I can work with them to study for quizzes or tests as needed. All meetings will be virtual but tutoring will be tailored to how your students learns best!
