I offer tutoring services in the fields of statistics, econometrics, probability theory, stochastic processes, biostatistics, quantitative finance, corporate finance, financial economics, optimization and actuarial science. I have a PhD degree in statistics and a graduate degree in finance from Stanford University. I have taught more than 10 statistics & probability courses at Stanford over a period of 5 years. Since then, for more than 10 years, I have been working in the financial industry, focusing on projects pertaining to data mining, computational statistics, financial engineering and systematic trading. In parallel, I have been coaching and tutoring clients of all levels: from undergraduate students to full professors in other fields.
I help with assignments, exams, presentations, empirical and theoretical research, dissertations, systems development and general skill enhancement. Proficient in all major statistical packages: Matlab, R / RStudio, SPSS + AMOS, Stata, EViews, SAS, JMP, Minitab and Microsoft Excel. The assistance is structured as video-conferencing and desktop sharing in S k y p e (hourly rate; 2 hours minimum per session) or complete projects via e-mail (flat rate). The base rate starts at
£50 / hour
and corresponds to undergraduate level statistics & probability. "High tech" material costs more. All work is done after the client pays via PayPal or a bank transfer.
