I'm not just a student who got good grades — I work in engineering professionally. That means I can connect what you're studying to how it's actually used in industry, and I can spot the practical gaps that textbooks often miss.

I'm also patient, genuinely enthusiastic about this stuff, and committed to making sessions feel encouraging rather than stressful. Many of my students come to me feeling like "school just isn't for them" — and leave feeling like it actually makes sense.

I have experience supporting students at the K-12, undergraduate and postgraduate level across math, science, and programming. I adapt every session to the individual: whether you're completely new to coding or trying to push past a specific sticking point, I'll meet you at your level and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

My sessions are structured, focused, and encouraging. I believe that anyone can get to grips with data and programming when it's explained the right way — and I take real pride in being the person who makes that click for my students.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe the best way to learn technical subjects is by doing, not just listening. My sessions are conversational and hands-on: I meet you where you are, build from your existing intuition, and guide you toward genuine understanding — not just exam answers.

I'm an engineer by training and practice, which means I don't just teach theory — I show you how the concepts live in the real world and why they actually matter.

What a Typical Session Looks Like

① We start with a quick check-in (10 min): what clicked since last time, what's still fuzzy, and what we're tackling today.

② Concept walkthrough (20 min): I explain the core idea using plain language, visual diagrams, and real examples — no walls of notation.

③ Guided practice (20 min): We work through problems together. I ask questions rather than just giving answers, so you build the muscle yourself.

④ Your turn (15 min): You solve a problem independently while I observe. I give targeted feedback on your reasoning, not just the final answer.

⑤ Wrap-up & preview (5 min): We consolidate what you learned and I set a small, manageable task to try before our next session.

Sessions are typically 1 hour, with flexible scheduling.
