About Sky

I recently achieved grades A**-A in my GCSEs and am currently studying for my A Levels in Maths, Chemistry, English Literature. I also completed an Extended Project Qualification, receiving an A grade.

I offer support for younger students with foundational topics and arithmetic mastery. With older students I tackle the challenging areas of the syllabus and problem solving to benefit KS3/GCSE pupils.

Having recently completed my own exams, I understand what’s required to succeed and can support students in a calm, friendly, and encouraging way. Whether your child needs extra support or is looking to improve further, I’d be happy to help. Please feel free to message me for availability and more details.

About the lesson

As a dedicated sixth form student currently studying Maths at A-level, I aim to run structured, engaging lessons that are tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficult topics.

Lessons will cover key Maths concepts, help strengthen core skills, and target areas that need extra support. I also like to challenge students and help them push their understanding further. Through clear explanations, practice, and exam-focused techniques, my goal is to build both confidence and ability in the subject.

I have worked alongside Sky as a fellow mentor and can confidently say she is a reliable and dedicated educator. She has a strong academic background, having achieved top grades in her GCSEs, and brings both subject knowledge and a genuine understanding of what students need to succeed.

Sky has a calm and patient approach, and is very good at explaining concepts clearly in a way that students can understand. She creates a positive and encouraging learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenging topics. I’ve also seen how well she adapts her teaching to suit different students and their individual needs. I would highly recommend Sky to anyone looking for supportive and effective tutoring.
