About Silvia

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have been a private language tutor in Kent and online for the past fifteen years for countless students of any age and level.

Currently teaching Italian and Spanish in two private secondary schools.

Worket as a lecturer of Italian and Spanish at the University of Kent.

Regularly taught languages in a private school in Canterbury from 2011 to 2014.

Experienced in GCSE and A levels exam preparations.

I have worked in the field of Education for my whole life, teaching languages in foreign countries also.

I am native Italian and I hold a C2 certificate in Spanish (proficiency level.)

Yes, I have one which is updated yearly.

About the lesson

Professional fully qualified native-Italian teacher offers the highest quality tuition in Italian, Spanish and French languages.

Italian, Spanish and English as foreign language (plus beginners French); beginner to advanced, conversation, one to one or groups, online tuition.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

Degree in Education (Bologna, 2006): top marks with honours.

Specialised in SEN.

C2 certificate in Spanish.

Studied Education at the University of Granada (Spain).

- How much do you charge?

For online one-to-one lessons, I charge £40 per hour, or £55 for 1.5 hours, or £69 for 2 hour sessions. For online lessons, I charge £6 extra per session.

Discounts are available for longer sessions, block bookings and group lessons.

I mainly teach online, but I can also welcome students at my house or I can offer home tuition (a small travel fee may apply to cover travel costs).

- Where do you teach?

I can teach online or at my home in Faversham; alternatively, I can travel to the surrounding areas (Canterbury, Whitstable, Sittingbourne, Ashford, etc.).

I can also arrange to have lesson at the student's workplace, or in public space (i.e. a quiet cafe`).

I am willing to travel to East/ central Kent (a small travel fees applies).

- When are you available?

Preferably available during weekdays office hours, but I can teach during the late afternoon.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

Any age and levels.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I can prepare students for any qualification.

Particularly, I have many years of experience in teaching GCSE, A levels and preparing for University studies.

I have also been an examiner for the GCSE and A level oral exams in several occasions.

Available for online tuition on Teams, Meet, Zoom, Facetime, etc.

Experienced in worldwide on-line tuition.
