Hi! I’m Alex, a UX & Product Designer based in Boston, USA. Over the last eight years, I’ve worked across a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, finance, retail, and education, helping clients like Honeywell, Fidelity, and Anheuser-Busch InBev. My career has been centered on transforming complex, messy challenges into intuitive, high-impact experiences. I specialize in information architecture, user research, and designing seamless user flows.

My experience spans the full design process — from concept to launch. Whether it’s conversation design, interaction design, or user research, I bring a structured and user-centered approach to every project. I’m passionate about creating accessible and inclusive designs, always focusing on the needs of the user while delivering beautiful, functional interfaces.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Alex.

I'm a UX designer. I have made a career of taking real-life situations, with messy, chaotic, unpredictable patterns... and making sense of it through structured process and a laser focus on the problems experienced by our target users.

A class with me may include:
- A primer on design thinking, and discussion on how to adopt this mindset as an investigative designer
- Deep dives on any UX methodology you may be interested in: journey maps, affinity mapping, card sorting, user interviews, etc.
- Exposition on the importance of USER RESEARCH above all else, especially when getting started defining your problem, users, and potential solutions.

I am an expert generalist, and am happy to discuss topics that you are interested in at any level — whether you are looking for a broad primer on how UX works (or should work) in organizations, how you can get started in your UX journey, live critiques of your process and design artifacts — I am glad to be a help. I love to share my passions for excellent usability, accessibility for all types of users, and the aesthetics of modern UI design. I hope to share my passion with you!
