About Vikash

I am a second year Maths student at Oxford and I have always loved teaching. I love to see how different people learn and approach topics since explaining topics helps reinforce the concepts for me too. I always like to work with people who ask questions and bring up any problems along the way since some students have given me insight into a topic which I have never seen before and I really enjoy finding new tricks even now. I do have a lot of experience tutoring so I have seen a lot of different concerns and believe me, no question is waste of time. Just talking about certain problems you may have had or getting a little bit more intuition goes a long way and I'm happy to try and develop that with you. Let me know if you have any particular questions or concerns.

About the lesson

I am extremely flexible in the format of lessons and can focus on any specific issues the student brings. For some students, I set work and mark between lessons, giving feedback on areas of strength and areas to focus more on. For other students, they prefer to bring along questions they were struggling with or questions they would like some more insight/intuition in and then looking at similar ideas in further depth. Happy to tutor any age group but I am particularly looking at GCSE/A-Level students. Personally I have had experience tutoring 1-1 for Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English Literature/Language GCSE; and Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics A-Level. I have worked as a teaching assistant too, giving me more insight into working with different groups of people too. Please ask any questions if there are any concerns or queries.
