About Maxwell

I'm a 28 year old PhD Student in Mathematics and Statistics, with experience tutoring. My work involves applying quantum mechanics and advanced mathematics to problems related to chemistry. As a result the mathematics which is tough at A-level is second nature to me and I use it every day. Myself and my partner are also foster carers, and I have an advanced DBS check.

About the lesson

My lessons are either 1 or 2 hours. We will discuss subject material, and go over examples. There is really no other way of learning. "There is no royal road to geometry" but any who is willing to walk can arrive. I can provide guidance, support, and encouragement. I can assign materials outside of the lesson as well. If you are preparing for exams, or compensating for a lack of adequate teaching at school, I can help.

Reviews

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Maxwell.

Perfect! Helped with understanding the more complex maths involved with A-level physics, and how it all links together. He added an extra half an hour just because of how interesting he finds the subject, which is a good sign (although obviously the extra time is a one-off)
