About Evelyn
I am a driven and accomplished first-generation Hispanic student with a strong passion for leadership, education, and community support. I founded and served as the first president of Latinas Leading Tomorrow, a nonprofit in Arlington, Virginia, dedicated to empowering Latina students. I graduated high school with a 4.3 GPA at 16 years old and earned a full-ride scholarship to university. For over a year, I worked for Arlington Public Schools, where I cared for and tutored students, further strengthening my skills in education and mentorship. Now, as an intern for DWECK, I continue to expand my professional experience while staying committed to making a meaningful impact in my community.
