Russian language teacher (native & foreign) with 25+ years of experience in teaching Russian language and literature, speech development, business communication and creative workshops. Skilled at enga

Lara has been teaching me Russian language, literature (and even cursive handwriting) for quite a few years now. I tried learning with Duolingo, but only really started making progress with her lessons. Her on-line lessons are interesting and engaging, she explains clearly and can be very patient when needed. I have enjoyed our weekly classes, and recommend her very highly.

I would highly recommend Lara as an excellent Russian language teacher.

My son has been studying Russian with Lara for the past three years, and we have been very happy with his progress. Lara is a wonderful teacher who is patient, attentive, and truly cares about her students.

One thing that has impressed me especially is that her teaching has had an impact beyond just learning the Russian language. Thanks to Lara, my son has learned to write in cursive and to organize his written work much more neatly. I have even noticed a significant improvement in the way his homework and worksheets look at his American school.

We are very grateful to Lara for her dedication, encouragement, and the skills she has taught my son over the past three years. She is a wonderful teacher, and I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable Russian language teacher.

Lara has been our Russian teacher for a number of years. From the very beginning, we were impressed by the care and attention to detail she brought to every lesson. She took the time to understand our goals and intentions for learning the language and tailored each class accordingly.
She is an amazing teacher who is especially skilled at explaining the language in a way that is clear and accessible to an English-speaking child. Thanks to her dedication and effort, our 17-year-old, American-born daughter now speaks, reads, and writes in Russian almost as well as she does in English.
We are incredibly grateful for everything Lara has done and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, patient, and highly effective Russian teacher.

I have known Lara for many years as I used to be one of her students and recently got back into learning Russian a few months ago. I have learned a lot with her. I find it easier to form a sentence compared to when I started, when I could only say hi. (Although it's still challenging - I am still learning after all!) Lara is calm and patient with me when learning, and I can tell she's very interested in teaching me. She puts time and a lot of effort into helping me understand, which I'm very grateful for! In the past few months, I've been learning cursive and grammar, together with new words and how to use them in phrases. Overall, she's a very trusting teacher who's been helping me build my confidence day by day. I highly recommend!
