About Uliana
I'm from Russia, now I live in New Zealand. I like learning and teaching, so I got PhD in Philology. I taught Russian Language and Speech Culture, as well as the Stylistics of the Russian language to Russian-speaking students at universities. I also taught the History of the Russian language for international students at MSLU and participated in the preparation of a textbook on the Russian Language for foreign students specializing in physics, and in the preparation of a multimedia textbook on literature for foreign students at MEPhI. In secondary school, I taught Russian, Rhetoric and Literature. Privately, I was preparing students for exams.

I am ready to help you master the Russian Language at any level, starting from elementary to the 3rd certification level.
Age of students from 10 years.
To master the elementary level of proficiency (A1), we will study the letters and sounds of the Russian language, learn to read, read Russian fairy tales and other useful texts)), get acquainted with the elements of speech etiquette, learn how to get acquainted in Russian, conduct dialogues, including on the phone. At the next stages of learning the Russian language (levels A2-B1), we will learn how to talk about ourselves, talk about where people go in their leisure time, about symptoms and diagnoses at the doctor, learn how to fill in questionnaires, call for a doctor, learn Russian proverbs and sayings. Russian language training at the B2-C1 levels is aimed at ensuring that the student can independently write his reports and other educational works in Russian, can write a resume and pass an interview, in general, find a job. In addition, we will have discussions, for example, about music, literature, cinema and religion, and get acquainted with anecdotes. I am ready to teach business and specialized Russian classes.
My experience and individual approach will ensure you have a confident command of the Russian language and a deep understanding of culture of Russian people.

In person classes are in Karori library or in the library in the center of Wellington. The cost of such classes is $50/h .
Time slots:
7 days a week at 9.00 AM - 3.00 PM,
weekday evenings from 7 to 8 PM, weekend evenings from 5 to 8 PM.
