About Joe
I'm an Engineering student (Civil & Sustainable Systems) with an Asian background. Have had tutors in the past for VCE (ATAR) subjects so I understand the most efficient way of teaching based on individual needs.
Being slightly older than most students in my discipline because I'm pursuing a second degree, I almost always assume the role of a tutor that helps progress group projects and resolve imminent and potential disagreements as I've had more experience in University, applicable to your future and current position.

What most teachers and tutors don't understand is the importance of teaching based on individual needs. Not everyone learns or grasp concepts the same way. Therefore, I like to begin my lessons with noting down problems that the student has from their school curriculum or in general. Then I either construct my lesson plan towards solving immediate issues or continue with my own style of teaching, which in this case is a heavy focus on essay formulation and writing.
