About Chris

I’m a big believer in the theory of Growth Mindset, the idea that we all can learn if we keep a positive attitude and give ourselves time and practice. I also believe that failure is good because it can teach us a great deal. I will be a safe, trustworthy tutor for you, and will never give up on you!

About the lesson

I have 30 years experience working with elementary students. I have taught using a variety of methods and curricula. For example, I’ve used Everyday Math, Go Math, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Lucy Caulkins, and more. I received my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, and love teaching it, and learning from my students! Teaching and learning is my jam!
