About Sharon
As a published author, research scientist, and registered dietitian who has spent more than a decade working with adult learners, I find immense gratification in supporting people to be the best possible versions of themselves. I love science and statistics and continually strive to help others do the same. People have varying reasons for seeking out learning support. It is my goal to understand what makes my students tick and walk alongside them to support them with their academic goals, whether it be a statistics assignment, research paper, individual project, or manuscript publication.

I tutor adult learners using an individualized approach to learning that includes a lateral hierarchy, regular communication, and curated content and testing materials. I aim to help others explore STEM topics in an engaging way, making even the most tedious statistics assignments interesting.
My teaching and counseling experience helps me encourage both the learner's confidence and content knowledge so they can best meet their academic goals.
