About Hugo
As an ESL tutor with 9 years of experience, I have helped high school and college students develop strong language skills and confidence in English. My lessons are carefully personalised to address each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and academic goals.

I teach ESL using a C³P approach—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is encouraged through storytelling, role-playing, and project-based activities that inspire students to explore English freely while expressing themselves confidently.
Communication is central to my lessons. I incorporate discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises to strengthen fluency, comprehension, and practical use of English. Compassion ensures lessons are personalised for each student, providing guidance, encouragement, and feedback to foster motivation and self-confidence.
Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based exercises, critical thinking tasks, and real-life applications that teach students to use English effectively while enhancing analytical skills. I also cover related subjects like reading comprehension, writing skills, and vocabulary enrichment to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
This methodology develops learners who are creative, confident, empathetic, and capable of applying English in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
