About Aya
I’m passionate about Math and Science and enjoy breaking down tricky concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. I want to tutor because I know how much of a difference the right support and encouragement can make. My goal is to help students feel comfortable asking questions, build confidence in their abilities, and realize that they’re capable of more than they think!
Outside of tutoring, I’m a lifeguard at Funfields, where I enjoy working with people, being part of a team, and creating a safe and positive environment for others. I also play piano, which is a fun way for me to be creative and challenge myself in a different way.
I’d describe myself as friendly, patient, enthusiastic, and approachable. I love seeing people improve and achieve their goals, and I’d bring that same energy into every tutoring session. Whether we’re tackling a tricky Math problem or exploring a Science concept, I want my students to feel supported, motivated, and proud of their progress.

Hi I’m Aya!
I’m a recent Year 12 graduate offering supportive, personalised tutoring in Mathematics and Science for students in Grades 1–9.
Having completed VCE Biology and General Mathematics, I understand the importance of building strong foundations, developing problem-solving skills, and learning concepts in a way that genuinely makes sense. I also progressed from advanced mathematics in Year 10 to VCE General Mathematics 3/4 in Year 11, giving me experience with challenging concepts and independent learning.
My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Whether your child needs help understanding difficult topics, catching up on schoolwork, preparing for assessments, or building confidence in the classroom, I aim to make learning engaging and rewarding.
What I can help with:
* Mathematics: Number skills, fractions, decimals, algebra, equations, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving.
* Science: Biology, introductory chemistry, scientific concepts, and developing scientific reasoning.
* Study skills: Homework support, revision techniques, assessment preparation, and building effective study habits.
I believe every student can improve with the right guidance, clear explanations, and consistent practice. My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to ensure they understand why an answer is correct and feel confident tackling questions independently.
