About Chetanya

Hello! My name is [Your Name], and I’m a graduate of Queens College, New York, with a major in Computer Science and a strong academic background in mathematics. I offer professional, personalized tutoring with a focus on helping each student truly understand the subject, not just memorize formulas. I am passionate about teaching and committed to making math feel less intimidating and more approachable. Whether you're struggling with the basics or preparing for exams, I provide clear explanations, structured lessons, and practical techniques to improve both your understanding and confidence. As a reliable and dedicated tutor, I take pride in my ability to connect with students and adapt my methods to suit individual learning styles. My goal is to see my students succeed—not just academically, but also in developing a lifelong appreciation for learning. I look forward to supporting you on your academic journey!

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is centered on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching techniques to match individual learning styles. I focus on building strong foundational understanding, breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable steps, and encouraging active participation through guided problem-solving.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previously covered material, followed by a clear explanation of new topics using examples, visual aids (where needed), and real-world applications. I then work with the student on practice problems to reinforce understanding and assess progress. Each session ends with a brief recap and guidance on what to focus on before the next lesson.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students and create a comfortable, judgment-free learning environment. I draw on both my academic background in Computer Science and my passion for mathematics to explain concepts in a logical and engaging way.

My lessons are suitable for middle school, high school, and college students, including those preparing for standardized tests (such as SAT or ACT), struggling with class assignments, or seeking to improve overall performance in mathematics.
