About Melanie

I recently graduated from Bates College with a Sociology and Education degree. I have had multiple teaching experiences including my current on as a teacher in student pods. I've also had experience working with a variety of students with different age ranges, students who are at risk, students who need educational support or special needs, students in English language learning classrooms, restorative practice, etc.

About the lesson

I aim to teach and implement a love learning and understanding. Many students are under the mindset that they need to get a good grade which often takes away a crucial interest and engagement. I strongly believe in the power of restorative practice and that anyone can learn whatever they put their mind to!
