About Yanika
I'm from London. I've been teaching English on Preply for over a year now, and it's been an incredible journey helping students grow in confidence and fluency. My teaching style is relaxed and conversational. I believe that learning becomes more effective when you are comfortable and talking about topics you actually enjoy. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with friends, trying new foods, and exploring different languages. My teaching methodology is centred on natural, conversational practice. I believe the most effective way to achieve fluency is through discussing topics you are passionate about, which makes learning engaging and effective. My technique involves gently guiding our conversations to introduce new vocabulary and correct errors in real-time, all within a relaxed and supportive environment. A typical lesson is 50 minutes long, providing ample time for deep, meaningful discussion. I hold a TEFL certification and have over a year of experience teaching students on various platforms. My lessons are designed for adult learners who want to build confidence, improve their speaking fluency, and sound more natural in English.
