About Raquel
I enjoy teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) because I like to help learners gain confidence in using English in practice and improving their communication in real-life situations. I enjoy breaking down difficult things into simple and easily understandable steps and seeing students become more confident as they improve. I'm also very passionate about languages; I am native in both English and Portuguese, and I love to dive deeper into language structure to help students improve their listening, reading, speaking and writing skills.

I create engaging lessons for my English lessons to encourage students to utilise their English skills confidently in their everyday lives as well as in specific environments such as travels, work, business, etc. I focus on developing their four skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.
