About Jannik
Hi :)
I'm Jannik, 24 years old and I'm studying for a Master's degree in Secondary School Teaching and will be working and traveling in Canada for a few months. German is my mother tongue and I am looking forward to teaching the culture and language to other people. That is why I have been working for over a year as a language teacher for children who have fled to Germany from crisis areas and teach them German. I would be happy to accompany you in your learning process and give you an insight into the German language and culture

The main aim of my lessons and my approach to language learning is to teach communicative skills. That's why I place great emphasis on ensuring that participants speak as much as possible in the session and that I can take away their fear of speaking in another language. At the same time, I believe it is also very important to teach cultural aspects that create the basis for smooth communication. The lesson planning is therefore individually adapted to the person and their wishes are taken into account. Before I came to Canada, I had already been teaching students who came to Germany as migrants for over a year and was therefore able to gain a lot of experience in this area. The lessons are therefore aimed at people who do not yet speak German or who already speak German well but want to improve it.
