About Jason

I am an experienced, qualified teacher who has been recognised by colleagues as outstanding in my field. I left my post as Deputy Head of Department in my previous school in order to pursue a different lifestyle as a freelance tutor. I am not only highly qualified and experienced, but I am also a very friendly and supportive teacher, and I have a genuine love for what I do.

About the lesson

I have a 1st Class Undergraduate Degree in French and German, as well as a Masters Degree with Distinction in German, and I have spent several years first studying, then working in Germany. I have 7 years experience as a qualified teacher of both German and French where I gained a successful track record of enabling students to achieve across the spectrum of ability. My particular expertise lie in the AQA GCSE syllabus, but I am experienced and successful from absolute beginner, up to A-Level.

The style of my lessons varies greatly according to to the needs and goals of the student, but lessons are always engaging, varied and underpinned by the highest levels of subject knowledge. Depending on what it is you wish to get out of your tutoring, lessons can be catered to your requirements, with a focus on grammar, conversation, or exam-based content.
