I have known Nicole throughout her professional career, she is a hard-working, warm and passionate individual. To every lesson plan she brings a level of enthusiasm that sees her demonstrating her subject in such an engaging way. Nicole has a talent at inspiring debate in those she works with, adolescents and colleagues alike. I think this is thanks to her ability to balance arguments and provide alternative viewpoints whilst maintaining a supportive and encouraging environment - it is so hard to stop a debate turning into an argument and I have seen Nicole manage that atmosphere with such skill. I think it is a testament to her ability that after her second teach first year her school asked her to stay on as head of department. I think Nicole's passion in her subject is demonstrable from her career so far. Having taught in schools Nicole has gone on to work in educational project management, coaching tutors and measuring educational outcome -as always Nicole never does anything in half measures! She immerses herself in every challenge she undertakes and I think this is reflected in the professional relationships she forms and maintains with all she works with.
