The way I teach is to identify the students strengths and weakness. Then formulate an approach that's would be suitable. Some students need more work on the basics, other desire a challenge. The approach involves focusing on individual topics and exploring them until every fundamental detail is understood and then allowing student to get practice until everything sinks in
