About Sabrina
I'm Sabrina, a qualified Modern Languages teacher. I finished my PGCE (official teaching qualification) at the University of Oxford last Summer, where I trained to teach German, French and Spanish to pupils of all ages, from Year 7 right the way up to Year 13. I have lots of previous experience as an MFL tutor, but I'm currently looking for fresh faces to teach with superprof. This could be school-age pupils and adults alike.
In 2018, I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor's degree in Modern and Medieval Languages (German & Spanish). In total, I have spent almost two years living and working abroad, in various locations across Germany and Peru.
Being able to speak another language opens the doors to a multitude of possibilities. You can live and work abroad, all the while being able to communicate with native speakers and discover the local culture.
Having studied German, French and Spanish at both GCSE and A level, I completely understand the difficulties associated with learning new grammar and vocabulary. By sharing my knowledge and language learning tips, my aim is to not only help you improve, but also achieve the best grade possible!

My lessons will consist of a starter, main activity and plenary structure. I will cover any content requested by you, the pupil, or whatever content I deem appropriate based on targets from previous lessons.
My main aim is to improve your confidence, as I realise that the prospect of making mistakes can be nerve-racking - but don't be afraid to make mistakes in my lessons - they are a vital part of the language learning process. My job is to help you to achieve the best grades possible!
During my lessons, I like to communicate in the target language as much as possible, engaging in real communication with my pupils. We will cover lots of interesting topics, switching to English when necessary. I also like to include as much cultural content as possible and use authentic resources, which may mean an occasional deviation from the curriculum. From experience, this makes learning a foreign language more interesting and fun.
