About Shamala
I am a qualified teacher (SACE registration) with 10 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree, PGCE and CELTA. I have experience teaching ESL and TEFL. I spent the last 2 years teaching English in China.

I believe that in ESL lessons, the teacher should only speak for 30 percent of the time. Lessons should be more student focused. I also use TPR (TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE) and props. This has proven to be successful in all my ESL classes.
